

Located just off Mona Street in Mona Vale and sweeping up to the sparkling waters of Pittwater, Winnererremy Bay Reserve has been landscaped designed by Pittwater Council to provide a greenhouse park providing excellent recreation facilities for the local community and visitors to the area. The Flying Fox Café is in the heart of the reserve.
From Mona Vale, head along Pittwater Road towards Church Point. When you reach Pittwater High School (on the right) take a right turn into Mona Street at the roundabout, Just past the High School you will see the Flying Fox Café sign – turn left into the Winnererremy Bay Reserve Car Park. The café is just beyond the playground, by the water.
The park contains a state-of-the-art children’s playground, a large bike rack, a beach-themed dry creek bed adventure walk, large open play areas, BBQ facilities, and beautiful foreshore walks.
Another recreation area, Rowland Reserve, is just a short walk from the café. Rowland Reserve is well known to Sydney’s dog lovers as it is one of the few areas in Sydney where owners can walk their dogs on the beach. There is also a boat ramp into Pittwater.
